There's a bend in the Douro River where the vineyards climb the hillside in terraces so steep they look hand-built by someone who didn't believe in flat ground - which, as it turns out, is exactly what happened. This is where port wine has been made the same way for three hundred years, where a quinta will pour you a glass before you've even set down your bag, and where the pace of the day is set by the river, not the itinerary. Porto sits where that river meets the Atlantic - all blue tile and steep stairs and old men who've been running the same cellar since before their fathers ran it. Portugal is the next stamp in the Sojourn & Soirée collection, and it might be the one that surprises people most.

Movement, culture, architecture, and exceptional dining in one of the most beautiful desert landscapes in the country. Mornings start with Pilates and a private longevity session. What makes an edition different from a tour
These are not tours. There's no bus, no lanyard, no group of forty people moving through the same site at the same time. An edition is a small gathering — 8 to 12 people — in a destination chosen because it rewards genuine presence. The itinerary is designed, not assembled. The experiences are curated through real relationships with local hosts, producers, chefs, and guides. You show up. Everything else is handled.
