Four days. Small-batch vineyards. The kind of afternoon that turns into evening.

October 2026 — A Look Back

The first Napa Edition is in the books.

A private estate that stopped feeling like a rental by the second morning. A welcome tasting led by Nina — six wines, poured by someone with WSET Level 3 behind her and no interest in making anyone perform about it. Orchids and champagne on ice because somebody had thought about it that morning. Charcuterie laid out on the kitchen island. A long table set properly, with the whole room going around it. Stone Edge, where we walked the vineyard before anyone poured anything and the estate’s own Cabernet came out with the story of its hillside attached. Lunch at Angèle, under the sunflowers and the pumpkins. The steps at Domaine Carneros, where you come up and the valley is simply there, and somebody brings caviar to a table set over the vines. Up into the hills the next day to Bella Grace — we didn’t go down into the cave, which is now a reason to go back. Then Rombauer, and a lawn nobody wanted to leave.

Strangers on the first night. Not strangers by the last one.

The hosting is the experience. That part doesn’t change.

April 2026 — A Look Back

The first Italy Edition is in the books — and it was every bit what Sojourn & Soirée was built for.

A villa above the vines. A table that kept getting longer. Pilates in the garden before the day asked anything of us. Brunello in Montalcino with a sommelier who treats every pour like a story. A farm tour with Ilaria — sheep, Pecorino, a lunch nobody wanted to leave. Siena in the afternoon. Florentine steak under candlelight. A birthday celebrated with a seafood extravaganza so good it has us already plotting Sorrento for 2027.

This is what a Sojourn & Soirée trip actually feels like.
