Sojourn & Soirée x Re-Tx Yourself

The Coastal Reset · Kennebunk, Maine

You've been running at full speed for a long time. This is the weekend you actually stop.

September 10–13, 2026 · · Limited to 10 Guests

Overview:

This is a weekend for people who move fast, carry a lot, and rarely pause.

Set along the Maine coast, the Coastal Reset is a fully designed four-day experience that brings together intelligent movement, guided emotional release, and quietly exceptional hospitality. Every element is considered — from the cadence of the days to the tone of the evenings. Nothing is accidental.

This is not a traditional retreat. There are no packed schedules or surface-level wellness rituals. This is a designed experience that meets you where you are and shifts you forward.

September there is something special — the summer crowds are gone, the light turns golden, the air has finally cooled. The coast is yours.

This edition is a collaboration between Sojourn & Soirée and Re-Tx Yourself. Two hosts. One house. Ten spots.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Setting A private historic property steps from the water — the kind of house that feels like it was built for exactly this: long dinners, fire pit conversations that go somewhere real, mornings slow enough to actually feel them. You'll have the whole place to yourselves.

The People Eight to ten. Chosen for the mix. The kind of group where you arrive not knowing anyone and leave with people you actually want to stay in touch with. The conversation at dinner will surprise you.

The Program Sami designs and leads the core work — guided sessions for your nervous system that are nothing like what you'd expect and everything you need. Cynthia brings Pilates and the precision of someone who's lived in enough places to know exactly what makes a room feel right. A functional nutritionist joins Saturday. A registered nurse leads you into cold water on Friday afternoon. It sounds like a lot. It won't feel like it.

The Texture Mornings smell like coffee and Maine air. Afternoons have space built into them. Evenings are long on purpose — good food, better wine, a fire, and the kind of quiet that doesn't feel like nothing.

YOUR WEEKEND

Thursday · Arrive Come as you are. There are drinks waiting, light bites, and an opening circle that will make you feel, immediately, like you made the right choice. Go to bed early. The weekend will earn it.

Friday · Go In Start with Sammi's morning session — guided, grounding, nothing clinical about it. The afternoon takes you to the water: a cold water experience led by Amy Hopkins, RN, that sounds intimidating and feels like a revelation. The evening is fire and reflection. Burnout bowls. The kind of night that turns a stranger into someone you trust.

Saturday · Go Deeper Pilates with Cynthia in the morning, then a session on food and the body with functional nutritionist Allison Deflumeir — practical, fascinating, immediately useful. The afternoon has room in it. Saturday dinner is the soirée: an elevated, seated meal designed as much for connection as for eating. Linger.

Sunday · Leave Differently A closing circle. A long brunch. A slow goodbye. You won't rush this one. You'll drive home knowing something in you has shifted — not sure exactly what yet, but sure.

WHO'S HOSTING

Cynthia Plath — Sojourn & Soirée Cynthia designs and hosts journeys. A former diplomat who spent years living and working across Europe and beyond, she has a particular eye — for places, for people, for the details that make a room feel different than it did when you walked in. She's also a Pilates instructor, and she'll be on the mat with you. She designed this weekend the way she designs everything: by asking what it would take for you to leave completely changed, and working backwards from there.

Sami Dowling — Re-Tx Yourself Sami Dowling is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Physical Therapist Assistant with over 15 years of experience helping individuals reconnect with their bodies and minds. As the founder of Re-Tx Yourself, she specializes in nature-based, evidence-informed recreational therapy that supports nervous system regulation, stress reduction, and meaningful reconnection to self. Through immersive retreats, six-week programs, and one-on-one sessions, Sami creates intentional spaces where people can slow down, reset, and build tools that carry into everyday life.

Amy Hopkins, RN On Friday afternoon, Amy leads the cold water experience — a guided immersion that's become one of the most talked-about hours of the weekend. She makes it safe. She makes it worth it.

Allison Deflumeir — Functional Nutritionist Allison joins Saturday with a session on hormone health, gut health, and longevity — the science of how what you eat shapes how you age, think, and feel. Science-backed and immediately actionable. You'll leave thinking differently about what you eat and why.
